Tern Associates Ltd win a prestigious Regional Award for their contribution to the European Week for Safety & Health 2003.
The Health & Safety Commission award was presented by John Hughes – Head of Operations Health & Safety Executive - East Midlands at the HSE Office Northampton, on March 9th 2004. This campaign held across Europe in October every year targets a specific Health & Safety theme. During last years event Tern Associates reduced risk to workers by raising awareness, at all levels, through the distribution of Health Check Toolboxes, apprenticeship & teacher training, and presentations at national conferences.
This year European Week for Safety & Health focuses on Construction with the slogan ‘Building in Safety’. Tern Associates launched at the award presentation their Euro week special edition newsletter which will be available at the Daventry Tertiary College Safety, Health & Environment Forum.
