Alan is a registered and qualified Health & Safety Practitioner, and a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health. Influencing the development, implementation and achievement of Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) strategies, objectives and protocols within; manufacturing, office services, administration, logistics, Supply Chain and emergency support.
From his sound background as an engineering craftsman, this logical pragmatist has gained extensive knowledge and experience in SHE skills, which were essential in aiding him to serve his community as a retained Fire Officer for some 30 years.
Through managerial roles and responsibilities he has strived for legal compliance and driven a continual improvement philosophy within major international businesses, by tutoring and motivating small teams of individuals in a broad spectrum of Health & Safety initiatives.
He is experienced in the development and delivery of communications, training seminars and awareness presentations, possessing excellent interpersonal and leadership skills used to obtain bottom line benefits and to enhance the well being of the workforce and community.
